Best Photo Editing PC

Intel has just released the refresh edition of the Ultra 7 CPU.

The Intel Core Ultra CPU 270K Plus is faster then its predecessor.

According to Google Ai, it is even faster then the i9 14900K CPU. This is what Google AI is saying …

The Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is generally a better buy than the older Core i9-14900K. It delivers comparable or faster multi-core performance but with significantly less power consumption and at a much lower price point.

Performance at a Glance – Gaming: The 270K Plus and 14900K trade blows in raw frame rates, performing almost identically on average in most modern titles.

Productivity & Content Creation: The 270K Plus often beats the 14900K in heavy multi-threaded workloads and rendering software, largely benefiting from upgraded Efficient (E) cores.

Single-threaded: Benchmark tests show the 270K Plus is roughly 8% to 10% faster in single-core speeds, making the system feel much snappier for general day-to-day use.

Thermals, Power, and Stability – Power Efficiency: The 270K Plus is much more efficient, consuming roughly 40% less power during gaming loads compared to the notoriously power-hungry 14900K.

Stability: The 14900K suffered from well-publicized instability, high-voltage degradation, and excessive heat issues. The 270K Plus does not suffer from these problems and runs much cooler.

More productive. More creative. More secure.

Our photo editing PC is powered with Dual Channel RAM. The data path is doubled by using two sticks of DDR5 RAM. By giving the CPU/north bridge another data path to the memory, bandwidth is effectively doubled. In simple terms, think of Dual Channel RAM as widening the bridge by adding two more lanes. This effectively allows more data to travel faster; much like traffic moving faster when there’re more lanes to drive in.

We use A-Grade RAM in all our gaming computers such as Crucial, Corsair and Kingston.

We use a mid level SSD in this PC. You have the option of faster SSDs as well as 2Tb & 4TB SSDs. Please see the Customise & Buy section below for more information and pricing.

If you want a good fast photo editing PC, then we would recommend opting for the faster SSDs.

Keep your photo editing PC clean as this case has removable dust filters to minimise dust intake and are extremely easy to clean.

Practical Elegance – Front panel is crafted with a combination of metal mesh and wood (walnut) to create a high-quality texture with different materials, integrating seamlessly into your home or office design.

An elegant looking case that pairs modern design with maximum airflow and sound dampening for a silent pc experience. A stylish, slatted front panel, framed by wood design provides ample airflow into your system for more efficient cooling and a uniquely elegant look and feel. An obstruction-free layout channels cool air directly from the slatted front panel to your PC’s hottest components – and back out again – for efficient cooling

This Elegant case adopts a unique metal design, providing a massive airflow path. With the full-size dust filter, this case can reach the balance between cooling and dust prevention. The pin-type metal front panel is effortlessly removable, and the clip-on dust filter makes cleaning easy. The well-designed styling will give you a remarkable PC showcase.

Want a quiet / silent photo editing PC for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or Elements. This wood face case has 2 x Sound-Dampening Side Panels. Both side panels are designed with sound-dampening foam, offering exceptional sound insulation.

We use ASUS or Corsair liquid coolers in our photo editing PC.

Modern all-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers have advanced significantly in reliability, largely overcoming past concerns about leaks and pump failures through reinforced multi-layer tubing, advanced ceramic bearings, and mature manufacturing platforms. For a high-performance photo editing PC, an AIO liquid cooler is a virtual necessity to tame power-hungry CPUs during intensive tasks like batch exporting or AI-driven rendering. Unlike traditional air cooling, the substantial volume of coolant acts as a thermal buffer. This buffer absorbs sudden CPU temperature spikes seamlessly, allowing the radiator fans to maintain lower, steadier speeds. By dissipating heat across a large surface area and exhausting it directly out of the case, liquid cooling provides the thermal headroom needed to sustain peak processing speeds while keeping your workspace distraction-free and whisper-quiet

An all-in-one CPU liquid cooler with specially designed CPU contact area and finned channels. Reinforced, sleeved tubing for increased durability.

The larger contact area allows for more efficient heat transfer from the CPU to the cooler. This helps ensure the CPU maintains optimal operating temperatures even under heavy workloads, without experiencing thermal throttling or performance degradation.

– Liquid Cooling / Water cooling for CPU

– CPU runs much cooler

– Reduction in noise

– Higher reliability

– A must for fast gaming computers

– Factory Sealed so no leakage

– Zero Maintenance – no refilling required
